A12800253_1046830128714979_740490598780598494_nround 1630 hours, your Chuckatuck volunteers were alerted to a residential structure fire in the 180-Block of Moore Farm Lane. E29 with 3, Engine 9 with 3, Tanker 9 with 2, and Car 509 responded to the scene, with units from Suffolk Fire-Rescue.

First arriving units advised of a residential structure with fire visible through the roof, and a working fire was called.8249_1046830135381645_2443732198558107922_n

Personnel participated in a transitional attack due to fire and roof conditions, before progressing to an interior attack. The fire was contained to the attic and second division.

Around 1940, just after units cleared from the Moore Farm fire, your volunteers were alerted to a chimney fire in the 1500-Block of Moores Point Road. Engine 9 with 3, Tanker 9 with 2, and Car 509 responded to the scene, with units from Suffolk.

Engine 9 arrived on scene to find a residential structure with nothing showing.

Personnel extinguished a small f12795320_1046830175381641_3628592999879554415_nire in the chimney, and investigated the attic area for extension, finding none. All units were put back in service.

Engine 29 was out of service from the first fire to replace bottles and fire hose. 29 quickly returned to service and stood by at the station to cover the district.
